Petanque
It is with great pleasure that we announce yet another activity—one located right by the clubhouse.
After a long wait since we began the application and planning process, Haderslev Municipality has now granted us the right to use approximately 550 m² of the lawn facing the school.
We have started surveying the site and are making arrangements to excavate 20 cm of turf and soil, which will be replaced with specialized pétanque gravel. The courts will be fully operational in the spring; the exact date will be announced later.
The facility will consist of four courts (numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the image) built to international dimensions, ensuring we are well-equipped should we wish to host tournaments or competitions.
On the side facing the school, the excavated turf and soil will be used to create a small embankment (number 5 in the image), which will be planted with evergreen ground cover.
If you are already interested, please let us know—we would also welcome any input, expectations, or preferences regarding training days and times.
While we know we cannot please everyone, we are committed to making this as attractive as possible for the greatest number of people.
